Call for TDoR Performers, Artists & Volunteers

CALL FOR PERFORMERS, ARTISTS, AND ART MAKERS!

We are seeking any person who identifies as non-cisgender who would like to share their poetry, art, her/his/theirstory, music, or stories of survival.

This is a curated event with an open mic. We wish to make the space safer for intergenerational access of trans stories of survival. The first half will be open to “all ages” and the second half will be a space for folks who wish to share any “non-PG” themed work. We ask that if you would like to perform, to let us know beforehand so we can curate the event!

All you have to do is contact us via email by providing us with:

  1. Your super badass bio with contact information;
  2. Trigger and content warnings for/of your work;
  3. Either an overview, an abstract, a link or file to previous performances, the genre or type of work you will perform. We just want to know what it is you’re doing (not the exact stuff) to balance the night; and
  4. Let us know what (if any) accommodations you need (including dietary!).

As a collaborative and grass root effort, we are saddened to acknowledge that cannot offer money for performers or artists. Gift baskets and handmade items will be gifted to you.

If you’d like to perform or speak, please contact Plan B Co-op at info@planbcoopkw.com or ethan@planbcoopkw.com for more information.
